I'm Home

I am home from the hospital. Thanks for everyones good wishes. I just popped on to let you know that the op went well and it's just a matter of physio , still with painkillers at the moment of course, from now on.

It's late over here and I am off to bed so will write more tomorrow.

Good news is that although I have pain from the op the really bad pain seems to have left me now so I am very pleased.

XXXXXX to everyone who sent such lovely comments

I've been checking like crazy and  -lo and behold-  there are your typed words  :-).

I am tickled pink that you are safely home...  and I bet you are as well.

Take it easy.  We will wait for every keystroke but only type when you are better.

I'd like to give you a hug but for now (since I'm in the US) pretend I just gave you a great big cyber-hug  :-)

Hello Jan. I have been following your blog for a while now - I think it is called skulking when I read but don't comment. But, I skulk no longer. I had a knee replacement Feb 2009, and it has been wonderful. I have had a bit of recurring pain when I over do things, but for the most it is just wonderful to be able to move around without pain. The key is to do the exercises faithfully in my opinion. Hope all goes well for you. I am going to add your blog to my favorite blogs list on my blog - once I figure out how :)

So pleased to see your blog up and running Jan. Have missed your cheerful writing. Hope all goes well with the knee. My Husband had a knee replacement years ago and he is fine. Take care not to over do it, but at the same time keep up the exercises. Love and Hugs, from DownUnder.
